Boiler System Application

Electro-magnetic water treatment changes the scale formation elements in boiler water, converting them into an inlert sludge or powdery sediment, which is easily removed from the boiler by normal blow-down procedure. Due to ETROMAC uses no chemicals, so discharge water is pollution free.

The ETROMAC treatment destroys the adhesion properties, increases the solubility and decreases the density of scale forming solid in water, creating the effect of soft water without the use of chemical additives.

This action modifies the properties of the solids in water, produces the effect of soft water without the use of chemical additives, and prevents scale formation on all surfaces in contact with the treated water.

The condition of ETROMAC treated water is effective in all steam, high and low pressure, water tube and coil boilers.

ETROMAC water treatment unit can be utilized successfully in boilers using well, canal, river, lake and city water. However, scale removal time varies with the type of boiler, operating time, kind of feed water, operating condition and working temperatures.

BLOW-DOWN PROCEDURE FOR SCALED BOILER: On highly scaled boilers, the frequency of daily blow-downs during the first month operation is doubled to dispose of leached scale and muddy sediment on the bottom of the boilers. The time length of blow-downs is not changed. The frequency of blow-downs is doubled. After the boilers are free of scale, the normal blow-down is resumed. Boilers with excessive scales should be inspected every two weeks during the first month and cleaned with pressure water to remove the chunks of scale and muddy sediment leached from boiler surfaces.
